Terror

I can't breathe. My mind is blank.

My heart is racing. I feel it thudding against my chest, trying to escape.

My stomach is churning. I think I'm going to throw up.

I frantically gulp oxygen. I need air.

"The next speaker tonight is .... "

I feel hands push against my back.

"Go on, that's you"

LOL!! Oh boy, do I know that feeling well. I'm a singing at our church and I have to say I feel that way almost everytime I sing. The sad thing is, I've been singing for 20 years.

G.R.E.A.T. Flash 55!!

I know you're speaking from experience, but *I Promise*, it will get easier!!

(and, by the way, I was beginning to get a little worried about you!!)

Oh my goodness, you can't leave us hanging like that! How did it GO?!

You must be so proud of yourself to be overcoming your fears so bravely (I always say that true bravery is when you are terrified but you face your fears anyway).

Congratulations!

I definitely know that feeling. The feeling that you can actually enjoy is the one that comes after it's over and you realize that it wasn't as bad or as scary as you thought it would be.
